Myanmar Citizens Bank – MCB was established in 1992, granted the Company Registration No. (274/1991-92) on 30th October 1991 and Banking License No. MaBaBa/J(i)-1(5) 1992 by the Central Bank of Myanmar on 25th May 1992. After the establishment, MCB began offering banking services on 2nd June 1992. MCB has an Authorized Capital of 75 Billion Kyats and Paid up Capital of 52 Billion Kyats.

After being granted the Foreign Exchange Authorized Dealer License by the CBM on 17th August 2012, MCB became a member of the Society for Worldwide Inter Bank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) on 5th January 2013.

Through our strong connection with corresponding banks, MCB provides various Foreign Exchange Market activities to our customers. On 24th October 2011, MCB was granted the Money Changer License and opened money changer counters at Kyauktada Branch, Muse Branch, Mandalay Branch and Dawpon Mini Branch. MCB was successfully listed on Yangon Stock Exchange on 26th August 2016, for the trade of shares.
