Business Development Manager at a Leading International Medical Technology and Device Company

The Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development within the healthcare or medical device industry. Experience in managing client relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and executing strategic sales initiatives is essential. A proven track record of achieving revenue targets and working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and clinical teams is highly valued.

Description

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market share and drive revenue growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, procurement teams, and healthcare administrators
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with market needs and customer feedback
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
  • Monitor performance metrics and report on business development activities
  • Provide input into product development and marketing strategies based on market insights
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
  • 5–8 years of experience in business development or sales within the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, procurement processes, and regulatory environments
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
