Main Teacher for Primary Level at one of the International Schools in Hmaw Bi, Yangon, Myanmar

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in English, Science and Mathematics aligned with the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) or equivalent international curricula

Up to 800,000 MMK plus other allowances

This role requires to develop and implement curriculum aligned with international standards

Description

Develop and maintain detailed records of student progress, conduct assessments, and provide constructive feedback

Prepare students for standardized tests and examinations

Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to curriculum development
-
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity and academic excellence
-
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and support students from diverse cultural backgrounds
-
Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress and development
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Science, Mathematics, or a related field
-
Recognized teaching qualification or certification
-
Preferably experience or training in the Cambridge curriculum or other international education systems
-
Minimum 2-3 years teaching experience in international schools or comparable settings
-
Experience teaching English, Science or Mathematics across primary and/or secondary levels
-
Fluency in English and Burmese (both spoken and written) is essential
