Learning and Development Manager at A Well-Known Financial Service Companies in Yangon, Myanmar

  • Responsible for designing and implementing learning and development strategies to enhance employee skills, performance, and career growth in alignment with business goals
  • Up to 2,000,000 MMK + other allowances

The Role

This role involves leading the learning and development function, creating training programs, managing learning platforms, identifying skill gaps, and fostering a culture of continuous learning across the organization to support business performance and talent retention

Our client is a leading financial services company in Myanmar, offering a wide range of products including digital banking, loans, and investment services

Description

  • Design and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with business and HR goals
  • Conduct training needs assessments and identify skill gaps across departments
  • Develop and deliver effective training programs, workshops, and e-learning content
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new hires
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs based on feedback and results
  • Collaborate with department heads to support departmental training needs
  • Manage external training vendors and consultants as needed
  • Promote leadership development and succession planning initiatives
  • Maintain and optimize the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in L&D or HRD, preferably in the banking or financial sector
  • Strong knowledge of modern learning methodologies and tools (e-learning, blended learning, etc.)
  • Experience in curriculum design, training delivery, and program evaluation
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Strategic mindset with strong organizational and analytical capabilities
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms and MS Office Suite
  • Fluency in English and Burmese
